For Infocomm technology (started with games design & development) – past 3 decades; For angel investing – past 13 years; As an educator – since 1998.

Computer Science + on-going self-learning from my industry peers and library

What is your experience as an Advisor/Mentor/Entrepreneur? What is your suggestion to the young generation to achieve your level of success?
Been mentoring early-stage companies for the past decades along with being involved as an entrepreneur for different businesses along the way; Youth who are into entrepreneurship needs to be open, compassionate, resilient, humble, positive and responsible.

When did you first heard about blockchain or cryptocurrency? What was your first impression of it?
Aug 2011 from Kurzweil; and in 2012 from Bruce Schneier

Which was the first cryptocurrency you bought after bitcoin? Why that one?

Which was the first blockchain or cryptocurrency company you have worked/founded? How was your experience there?
Founded Crowd Ventures; created and filed IP blockchain patent; 1st granted the patent in Jan 2018 and we will have over ten other IP blockchain patent variants globally by Jan 2019.

Any personal favourite blockchain company or cryptocurrency? Why?
I like ETH, mainly because of Ethereum – a novel blockchain-based distributed computing system that supports smart contract functionality

What advice would you give a person who is rekt and may likely leave the blockchain and crypto world due to losses?
Meditate over what you have learned during this journey – be positive, and this too shall pass.

Which country are you from? And how is blockchain & crypto doing in there from a legal point of view?
Singapore. Singapore embraced both innovation and at the same time takes measure to ensure that abuses to the system are minimised; for more information refer to the recent Nov 2018 publication “A Guide to Digital Token Offerings”, http://www.mas.gov.sg/Regulations-and-Financial-Stability/Regulations-Guidance-and-Licensing/Securities-Futures-and-Funds-Management/Guidelines/2018/A-Guide-to-Digital-Token-Offerings.aspx This is one area the SEC can learn from MAS.

What is the best achievement you had in the Crypto/Blockchain World?
Granted patent for the IP Blockchain invention and perhaps the BANSEA ICO Due diligence framework
